Since an update to Buildcraft, redstone engines can't provide power into conductive pipes, or power machines other than the pump and wooden pipes. Additionally, even when they did work, you needed about 40 of them to power a quarry. Finally, to provide power
ConsultaWhat version of buildcraft are you using? 7.99.24.4/5(?) introduced a regression which made the quarry not work properly if it got too much power-although it's been fixed in the 7.99.24.6-pre.2 prerelease.
ConsultaLandmarks define the areas in which the Quarry, Filler and Template Drawing Table operate in. Depending on the shape required, more than one may be necessary (such as a three-dimensional shape for the builder). Landmarks can be placed on glass blocks. ConsultaThe Quarry is a machine added by BuildCraft. It allows for unmanned mining of a large area. The Quarry can be powered in many different ways. A tutorial illustrating how to set up a Quarry can be found here. The total EMC value is 163,028. The default frame of the Quarry will occupy an area of 11 x 11 x 5 and excavate a 9 x 9 area of land. These
ConsultaThere are three types of conductive pipes: Wooden conductive pipes: They extract energy of an engine, they don't have to be powered by a redstone engine like the wooden pipe. Stone conductive pipes: They are the normal energy transportation pipes-Don't use them over long distances because they lose 1% of the energy per pipe. For this case use:
ConsultaThe Quarry is a block added by the BuildCraft mod. A machine that is used to automatically mine out large areas. By default, it will mine a 9×9 area of land down to bedrock, given enough time and energy in the form of Redstone Flux. The default area to be mined can be altered by defining a rectangle or cuboid area using Land Marks and placing
ConsultaBuildcraft Quarry not working. [Revelations] I can't get my Quarry to mine. It will build the frame, built the arm, try and break the first block then fail. Then this little laser pops
ConsultaProbably more work/effort than you want to go through when you can easily produce enough MJ to run a quarry within Buildcraft itself. Flux Networks does conversion between various power systems but probably not MJ yet. And that's the problem right there, it'll take awhile for new MJ to get support from other mods, if it happens at all. 1.
ConsultaI don't think redstone engines have been able to power Quarries for a long time. redstone engines no longer work for quarries : ( you have to use the other engines. Only utilize two of the engines and they have to be facing the quarry block. Place the the sides and leave the front open. 434K subscribers in the feedthebeast community.

ConsultaI have three creative engines, all set to 1280 RF/t, all on, and all directly inputting into the quarry, with a chest on top. And it does not work. The text was updated successfully,
ConsultaLast BC update there is a bug that if you give the quarry too much power it will stop working. Next update should fix this. what do you use instead of kinesis pipes. Put the energy converter right next to the quarry. I've been running my quarry on 4 combustion engines running on gas fuel with no problems.

Consulta0. Nov 25, 2012. #2. If your buildcraft engine is changing colors but not animating, that means that it doesn't have anything to power (more precisely, it is not facing towards something that can accept power from it). Post a screenshot of your setup, then we'll be able to tell you right away what the issue is. T.
ConsultaStarting a Quarry. The default settings of the Quarry will occupy an area of 11x11x5 (not including the actual Quarry block itself), and excavate a 9x9 area of land. These dimensions can be modified with Landmarks to increase the size, up to 64x64. To adjust the size of the Quarry, 3 Landmarks will need to be placed in a square or rectangular
ConsultaThe problem I'm having is that though the quarry will work with a BC Stirling engine, the quarry will only connect to buildcraft pipes and not to galacticraft wire. I've tried everything I can think of, like hooking the quarry up directly to my power source via gold pipes, using a mekanism energy cube in between (since it stores energy in MJ
ConsultaSep 6, 2013. #4. The quarry has to clear out the marked area first, before it will give you items. All blocks in that area will be deleted. Two Electric Engines might be not enough energy to run at a decent speed, though. I also don't see any kind of pipe or storage attached to the quarry, so the items will be just spill out into the air, after
