The copper oxide ore was supplied from Manuel Antonio Matta Plant (Copiapó, Chile). The ore was crushed and milled to obtain a particle size below 150 μm. In order to identify the chemical composition, the sample was digested with hydrofluoric acid (HF) and analyzed by ICP-OES, and the results assay of the samples is shown in Table 2 .
