The Huntley Quarry Geology Reserve was officially opened in 2007, and is the first geology reserve in Gloucestershire. The reserve, and its surrounding woodland, cover an area of 0.87 hectares and is owned and managed by Gloucestershire Geology Trust. Three quarries, as well as the bluebell and daffodil woodland can be visited at the reserve.

Parked at the forest gate at NJ 49096 43384. Followed the forest track round and upwards, following the uphill yellow marker, then the white indicator up the pleasant forest path to the summit. Very pleasant walk. Parked below the old quarry, former FC car park, plenty of room before locked gate.

An easy figure of eight circuit in mature mixed conifer and broad-leaved woodland around the low hills of Ferny Knowe, Clean Hill and Boddum Hill, on the flanks of the Bin Hill near Huntly.
