So I went through the silverite mine on DA:Awakening, slayed the two bothersome dragon thralls, and only then discovered that there is no way to recover the bad-ass armor and blinged-out greatsword of which I had grown so fond. Yeah it's a well known bug of Awakening. To fix it you'll have to load a game prior to entering the Silverite Mines, and go in it naked. If you don't have a save before the mines well you're screwed.
